REVIEW
This was such a mess with you head kind of book! Donna has lived in an mentally abusive relationship for six years. It starts out all roses and ends up with her doubting every move she makes. She has brought two children into the world the first out of love; the second out of rape by her husband. When Donna asksVictor in the beginning of their relationship what would happen if they didn't work out. His answer, "I'd obliterate you." And that is exactly what he does. After the judge finds in favor of Donna in regards to custody of their two children, Victor kidnaps them. As the search for her children goes on, Donna continues to struggle with all the scars from being mentally abused. She falls into actually being the abuser in her new relationship.

As a reader you can see what Victor is doing and it is frustrating!! I will say that it did seem to slow down a bit after the kidnapping of the children. It didn't bother me much because we see this part of an abusive victims life where they must deal with what has happened and what needs to be done to heal the wounds. Great writing and glad that I finally got to read this one.

Book was purchased personally by me. I have received no compensation and my opinions are my own.
