Teaser Tuesday: The Vampire's Curse

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

Grab your current read
Open to a random page
Share two "teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page!

The Vampire's Curse, A Paranormal Romance (Undead in Brown County #2)
The plan was to make a sandwich and a cup of caffeine-free tea, watch a little of the evening news and then fall into my bed. As I was spreading a thin layer of mayonnaise on a slice of bread, there was a knock at the front door. I was damn sure it was not an encyclopedia salesman. Probably a vampire. Wonderful.~pg.11 (pdf)

This does sound good. I'll have to add it to my wishlist. My teasers are from Between the Land and the Sea by Derrolyn Anderson and Ghost Story by Jim Butcher. Happy reading!

It sounds like he would have preferred the encyclopedia salesman. LOL.
