If
you don’t know who Si Robertson is by now then you must be living under a rock.
He is one of my favorite characters from Duck Dynasty. Getting the chance to
review his audio was a treat. I was looking forward to some witty advice for
Uncle Si. I was also hoping to learn a different side of Si.
Si
takes us through some serious times in his life. Mainly Vietnam. It defined who
he is today and also is the reason for his Tupperware cup. If you want to know
the story behind his cup you will have to read or listen to his book because I’m
not spoiling that story. Mixing his normal tall tales in with reality, he
brings us into his life from the time he was born all the way to today. He lets
us know that he has had many trials and his faith is what got him through.
Si
Robertson did not let me down and it was nice that he even read most of his own stories himself. Though the chapters are unorganized and a bit
random it provided several humorous parts and also manyinspiring moments
peppered in. Quick, fun read and if you are a true Duck Dynasty fan you won’t
be disappointed (and that’s a fact, Jack!!)
